Research / The following scientific research work has been carried out

IT system enhancing rescue operation of saving human life at sea. Gdynia 2001.

SARCAS 2000 © The objective of this project was to develop a computer software enhancing the search and rescue operations at sea, as well as developing a method of decreasing the area of searching for individuals whose lives are in danger, taking into consideration the specific character of hydro-meteorological elements present in the southern Baltic and extending the range of using the above mentioned method to cover the stormy weather conditions (current studies, for example IAMSAR Manual 98 cover the winds whose speed does not exceed 34 knots - 7°on Beaufort scale).
